MEP115A Precise 400Hz 60 KW Generator
We have a 400 Hz generator (12 wire) rated at 60 KW. Could we do something something to make 60 Hz with this unit? As in your primer on converting generators, you started with a unit that was already set up for 60 Hz. If not, we would have to by a new generator head. It has the Allis Chalmers prime mover which runs great.

A 400hz generator head CANNOT be simply re-wired to produce 60hz.
You COULD use gears or belts to rotate the head at a lower rpm - such an arrangement would be foolish and the power curve of the head would be ruined.
Since your prime mover is in good condition, your best results would be mating a replacement generator head -- if you can't stand to scrap it.
